I've always been strangely keen to help people put things into or get things out of lofts, I think mainly because I'm nosey!! One of the few things I like about my job is that I'm one of the few people who have keys to 'upstairs'. Most people at work don't even know there is an upstairs and to be quite honest there's not a lot up there but I still get a kick out of letting people into the secret and taking them upstairs to get things. Their excitement is normally quite short-lived. All that's up there is the water tanks, the lift machinery and two rooms full of ancient files and all the xmas decorations... oh and the roof. I've been known to nip up there for a secret stroll in the sunshine. The whole roof is flat and I like the fact that I can get views of Brighton that few other people see.
